Message from the Nominating Committee

On March 1st, the Nominating Committee announced on the website its search for volunteers to join the Management Committee. As of today, no owners have stepped forward to volunteer. However, we have noticed the following comments written on the signage at the upper mailboxes:

“The crack management committee does it again!  No concessions surely!”
“This is one of many instance [sic] that this committee maks [sic] no sense at all!  Incompetence”
“VOTE THEM OUT!”

We kindly encourage owners to volunteer for the Management Committee.

Posting messages on the signs at the mailboxes does little to resolve issues and only serves to lower the appeal of our community for prospective buyers. By stepping forward to contribute, you can help improve our community for everyone.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

Parking on our Property

We have been notified that we must allow workers at West River Estates to enter and park on our property.

We understand this will be inconvenient and are mindful of the additional wear and tear it will cause to our private roads. Thank you for your understanding.

Special Meeting of the Association

At its last monthly Management Committee meeting, the Committee voted not to have a special meeting of the Association this spring. Instead, the Committee will be mailing a letter regarding the state of the Condominium Association.

We will add a post on our website when this is mailed so you can watch for it in your mailboxes.

If you have any questions, please email the Committee at management@pheasantridgeri.com.

(Note: We will still have our Annual Meeting as normal in early June.)

Parking Ban and Cold Temperature Alert

Reminder: When the Town of Smithfield has a parking ban, we have a parking ban affecting on-street and guest parking areas.  We expect Smithfield to be announcing one for Sunday afternoon into Monday.

After the snow storm, temperatures are expected to drop.  Computer models are predicting low temperatures in the single digits for several days.  While not unusual for our area, it has not been this cold recently.

To protect pipes from freezing, please be sure that your outside faucets are turned off and that your thermostats (all zones) are set to at least 55 degrees.  (I also try to remember to leave my kitchen cabinets under the sink open so the heat can get in there.)

Please check on your neighbors and share this with them.

Oh hi there 👋 It’s nice to meet you.
